Why does anyone start a blog? Does that person actually have something to say? Or do they simply want attention? It's been quite a few years since I have had a blog, or what was then just called an "online journal" (I'm sure that gives you some idea of the span of time). I'm not even sure if I could even find my old journal, let alone actually access it anymore. I was young and still highly impressionable by my friends, and by what they were doing. We all had our own little journals, which no one but ourselves paid any attention to. We posted quiz results that mocked our intelligence, and wrote bitching comments about the "other people". That journal was silly.
